Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of VSM Studio at vsmstudio.app. By using it you agree to them.

The service

VSM Studio lets you draw value stream maps, run simulations, plan improvements and learn the method. Calculations and simulations are estimates from the numbers you enter; check them before you make business decisions on them.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else used your account. You are responsible for what you do with it.

Plans, billing and refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Account & billing in the builder; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for and is not charged again.

If you are not happy with your first purchase, email us within 14 days and we will refund it in full. Event Passes, credit packs and the certificate are one-time purchases; unused credits do not expire. Prices are in US dollars and may include sales tax where it applies.

Your content

The maps and notes you create are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to use.

Acceptable use

Don't use VSM Studio to break the law, to attack or overload the service, or to access other users' data.

Availability

We work to keep VSM Studio running and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without warranties. Export maps you can't afford to lose (Save & share → Map file or synced file).

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of VSM Studio.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. If you keep using VSM Studio after a change, the new terms apply.
